"At the cross I bow my knee, where His blood was shed for me, there is no greater love than this..."

And as He stands in victory, sin's curse has lost its grip on me
In class, my teacher often talks about how when God looks at us, all He sees is Christ. He sees us as perfect people. But, how can this be? We are so incredibly sinful. This is the message of the gospel: Christ died so that we did not have to bear the burden of our own sin. He died the death we could not die. He switched places with us, in a sense. God looks at us and sees the perfect man in whom He is well pleased. Amazing.
